I am dedicating this post to content creators.
Whenever I think of content creation, I remember all the funny and weird stories I have heard about
where and how people get inspired to create content; trust me, you don't want to know 😹😹.Unfortunately, as a content writer, there are times that I experience writer's block. Although it's normal, it's not a good feeling, especially when you want to meet up with deadlines; however, I had to create a strategy to help me develop more content and deal with writer's block. For instance, I always write down ideas whenever I think of them (no matter what time it is). Although I sometimes have outstanding ideas in my dream that I'll have to write about it or save a voice recording immediately I wake up, I won't recommend this because it might interfere with your sleep.
Another way I come up with content is to search for the trivial ideas that pop up in my head and later develop the thought. But if I were to tell you the most fun way to get content ideas, I'd say, "have a conversation with a stranger". Just imagine how cool that would be if the conversation births a beautiful friendship.
Other ways to source content at zero cost are:
1. Checking out the comment sections of other blogs and YouTube channels.
2. Visiting sites with various content, for instance, ask.com, surveymonkey.com, Huffington Post, and psychology today.
3. Thinking of alternate ways to use a product. For example, unusual uses for baby oil.
4. Ask your social media followers what they would like you to write.
5. Using Google search suggestion. Just type a few words and let google suggest the rest.
6. Writing about what's new with you could be a new product you purchased, an event you attended, or an achievement.
In conclusion, good content sources are endless as long as you are willing to see the positive in every situation.
