As we are all aware, the pandemic changed a lot of plans from travelling to graduation
ceremonies. One major event that was affected by the COVID-19 is wedding ceremonies but luckily, most of the couples who had to postpone their weddings earlier this year are now married. Congratulations to you all! The sad part of these, however, is that close relatives or friends of the couples who would have loved to grace the occasion are not able to do so due to travel restrictions in some countries. Therefore, if, you want to know how to make your absence felt on the couple’s special day, here are some heartfelt gifts that they will cherish.
- Pay for anything they may need at the wedding—for instance, the wedding cake, wedding planner and so on.
- Make the bride and groom feel special by creating a 'trip down memory lane' video for the couple and have someone play it on the day. For instance, my siblings weren’t able to attend my wedding, but they put together a little surprise that was played on the wedding day.
- Have the DJ play their favourite playlist when convenient.
- Arrange a surprise weekend getaway after the honeymoon for them.
- Buy a matching outfit or personalized gift items for the couple.
- Surprise their bank account 😎.
- Or simple plan a surprise visit when you can.
Please note, these ideas are based on your budget and your relationship with the couple.
