COVID-19: How to improve your career

This post was suggested to me based on how much changes we are constantly facing amidst
pandemic and I believe it is necessary for job seeker and recent graduates to know how to cope with these moderate to severe changes.

Firstly, a couple of months ago, I coached a lady on how to create a video cv and prepare for her online interview because it was important for the job she applied for. Indeed, there is a huge contrast to how work used to be done!

The new norm will involve a lot of physical, financial & mindset changes, new habits will be adopted and hopefully, it won't have an adverse effect on our health. If you are a fresh graduate or a job seeker, below are important information you will need to improve your career:

- Create a video CV.
- Prepare for online job interviews.
- Learn how to work from home. It's easier said than done especially if you don't live alone. Working from home involves some necessary skills like:
       Time management.
       Creativity and productivity.
       Working in a noisy environment.
       Multitasking.
Setting up an effective work station.
       Working in virtual teams.
       Working individually.
       Having close deadlines for projects.
Being asked by the management to take online courses.

In what ways have you improved your career development recently?
