Protective Hairstyle: Shuku

A friend of mine made this style on my hair a few days ago, but before we finally
decided to do this style, I had about 4 ideas in mind.

You may be wondering why I refer to it as a protective style? It’s because it doesn't put so much pressure on the edges of my hair if done right and it keeps the hair styled for a while which prevents so much styling, heating and damage to the hair.

I used purple and black ombré hair extensions, cut it in half (cut 2) to make it this long. I may have it on for about 10-14 days more.

I love it because it’s so simple, I can wear it in a bun or ponytail style and my son can’t easily pull my hair when it’s in a bun style 😃.

What protective style do you have on?
