Being unable to have total freedom to go wherever I want has really changed my
lifestyle but the reason is absolutely worth it.
Though there are a lot of things I miss about being outside, I can't deny the fact that I have learned numerous lessons this period. Below are some of the things that have made me appreciate the simplicity of life.
- Money can’t buy everything.
- Irrespective of our race, social status, gender, and beliefs, we can all face the same issues.
- The importance of good health can't be overemphasized.
- Our minds can still function properly and creatively even when we are self-isolating.
- There’s nothing wrong with doing nothing for a while.
- As long as there’s life, there’s hope.
- Life is really short. Make the best of the time you have.
- We can make plans for the future but only God knows our future.
- Isolation isn’t a barrier to happiness.
- Social distancing doesn't mean emotional distancing.
- Those healthcare workers, cleaners, delivery guys, truck drivers, policemen, storekeepers and so on who have to be at work so we can stay at home are real-life superheroes, God bless them!
