I’m sure the first thing you think of when you hear ladies say ‘routine’ is morning and
skincare routine... well if that isn’t you, then I guess I just exposed myself :)
I usually have routines for specific purposes to keep myself creative, productive or calm. These days, I do simple nighttime activities for a calmer mood before going to bed. So far, the benefits I've noticed are:
- Better and longer sleep.
- Productive mindset the next day.
- Positive attitude.
Although there are nights I don't sleep right after the routine, it's still something I enjoy doing. The reason I started it actually was that I noticed how difficult it used to be getting up at the wee hours of the morning when my son cries. This is what my nighttime routine is like:
- Planning the next day's activities.
- Writing blog content.
- Organizing and editing photos.
- Face and feet massage.
- Stretching.
- Listen to meditation songs ( I love this particular one by my friend The name of the Lord).
- Practice mindful gratitude.
- Meditate.
- Pray.
