Help.. Baby won’t sleep

Putting a baby to sleep is one huge task that requires patience.

My experience
has made me understand that sleep training depends on a lot of factors. There are times my son will look so sleepy but will rather be fighting sleep. Overtime I've learnt some ways to improve his sleep pattern like:

Making sure he’s well fed before he sleeps
Playing with him (since he loves it anyway) to get him tired
Changing his diapers when I notice he is feeling sleepy
Singing to him
Creating a night routine
Dimming the lights
Removing distractions
Rocking him

Well he might still not want to sleep after doing all these but since I created a routine, I've noticed a great improvement.

What are your sleep training methods?
