Question of the Day

Hi Grace,

I read your blogpost on Creative tips for Photographers and I am interested in knowing more about it but first I have no idea how to start because most of the tools are
expensive. Any suggestions?

I understand the need to invest in high quality photography tools which may be above your budget. First of all, you don't need to get all the expensive professional equipment secondly, you need to know what kind of photographer you want to be. However, I put together a list of budget-friendly items that can get you started.

1. Ring light or selfie ring light: One of the best tools for close up pictures.

2. Smart phone: With a good smart phone, you can take quality photographs as well as blog with your phone.

3. Tripod stand: This tool can work with your phone, camera and light.

4. Selfie stick: You can attach your selfie stick to your tripod and take pictures from different angles.

5. Shutter remote: Most selfie sticks have a remote. This will enable you take multiple shots from a distance.

6. White Backdrops: Having this improves the quality of your close up photos that is if you want to take pictures of your make up, hair or related. You can either use a wall, fabric or printed backdrops.

7. Flexible phone holder (for car, hand): That is if you feel like holding your phone to take pictures or fixing it in the right position in your car.

8. Power bank: In case your battery is low and you don't want to miss the perfect spot.
