Ashley Tisdale has made a name for herself as one of the true signature blondes in the industry. She’s been honey-streaked, platinum, ombre, tortoiseshell, and has even sported some pink and purple streaks in her strands. According to Ashley’s hairstylist, Krisitin Ess, none of those colors were actually Ashley’s “dream hair,” because Kristin created that for her last night.
Ashley’s new rose gold hair looks like a real-life Instagram filter. Kristin shared Ashley’s new hair color on her Instagram account, captioned: “And for our newest color concoction: rose filter IRL!! such a fun day giving @ashleytisdale her dream hair.” Hair extension specialist Priscilla Valles also gave Ashley some extensions and a ton of layers to blend her strands to perfection.
Rose gold hair tones have been trending among top colorists as of late. Last month, Emma Roberts debuted her new “desert rose” colored hair for Coachella, and now Ashley’s followed suit with a much lighter version. Ashley’s hair really does look similar to rosy Instagram filters such as Aden, Mayfair, and Nashville. As long as she has this shade, she’ll probably never have to add a filter to any of her photos again. This is a hair color trend we can actually get behind, because the possibilities are endless and it just looks so cool. Plus, it’ll be fun to see which filters can get their own IRL renditions.
