Throwback to My Yarn Side Part Braids

I’m reminiscing about the time I rocked my yarn side part braids! I absolutely love this style for its versatility. I created these tiny braids using Brazilian yarn and opted for a side part because it’s one of my favorites.

It took me a solid 6 hours to complete this look, and let me tell you; my hands were seriously aching by the end! If you’re planning to DIY your hair, just be prepared for a workout!

I usually prefer to do my hair at night so I can enjoy a free day afterward. For this style, I used 4 bundles of Brazilian yarn, with each piece cut to shoulder length.

A little tip: I roll the yarn on the backrest of my dining chair before cutting it to make things easier.

If you’ve tried this style yourself, I’d love to hear about your experience in the comments!
