They say 'all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy' but that statement has not been seen in the light of the reverse case 'all play and no work' which sounds absurd of course as we humans always try to
balance our work life with leisure time which is a healthy way to care for ourselves. In an ideal situation, in order to deal with the stress of work leisure times are observed which is appropriate and fair, but what can hamper this balance is taking too much time for leisure which might be as a result of poor time management. Let's be honest here, taking too much time for leisure can sometimes affect our productivity and cause overall performance inconsistencies. Not in all ways though, for instance you get your dream job and you genuinely work wholeheartedly, a few months later, you have a 'work bestie' who gives you all the latest in his or her world. It will take someone who knows how to set ethical boundaries without causing rift in the friendship to manage productivity and the good relationship at work.
In summary, a good way to control this balance is to manage your time and set reasonable goals with the stipulated time and you will have a stress-free working experience and a balanced work lifestyle.
