Time Out


In the midst of a busy schedule I pause whatever I’m doing to
stay still. This practice has a way of relieving me of tiredness for a while. Resting improves one's mood and well-being. I’ve noticed that when I try to accomplish a task under intense pressure, the outcome won’t be as good as what I do after a good rest.

There are different ways to rest not just sleeping, there’s the physical, psychological, emotional, mental rest which I will discuss more in a future post. What I do when I’m stressed is to rest a part of my body while allowing the other part do the work. For instance engaging in physical rest like relaxing my legs or a part of my body while I’m busy with my mind like planning on what next to do. 

Overall, taking a moment from your busy schedule to rest can have a good impact on your life and improve your performance at work.
