Why Selena Gomez avoids washing her hair

Selena Gomez performing as part of her Revival tour
Selena Gomez, aka the most-followed person on Instagram, aka all-around queen who slays on a daily basis, has been sharing some beauty secrets. You better believe we've been listening.
Of course, we'd quite like her face and her incredibly body, but if we had to pick
something? Her hair. Her thick, luscious, bouncy hair. We call it shampoo-ad hair - and so do the folks at Pantene, who also thought her locks were lovely enough to give her a role as spokesmodel.
Speaking to Allure, Selena said her big haircare secret is skipping a few washes. "I don't wash my hair everyday, which may sound gross, but it's actually really bad for my hair. Some of my best friends actually can't go more than maybe two days without washing their hair, and for me, I give my mom and my dad all the credit, because I have thick hair, so it gets better the less I wash it.

"By the third day, my hair actually holds pretty well. It just holds curls better, and it holds product better. It's so strange, but it actually works. I just use a little dry shampoo, and I tease it to keep the volume up. Usually by day four is when I have to absolutely wash it."
