MUA Huda Quhshi, is opening New York’s first women-only, hijab-friendly hair salon in the middle of Brooklyn.

As it’s forbidden in Islam for women to show their hair to men outside the family, visiting hair salons can be difficult.
Huda, who wears a hijab herself, says that she’s always had a hard time finding a hairdresser which could accommodate her.
