  Hey everyone! I’m excited to share how I styled my hair into a gorgeous half cornrow ponytail, complete with a chic bun clip. This look took me about an hour to achieve, and I love how versatile it is! Step-by-Step Process: 1. Prep Your Hair: Start with clean, dry hair. I made sure to detangle thoroughly to avoid any snags while styling. 2. Sectioning: I divided my hair into two sections: the top half for the cornrows and the bottom half to remain loose. 3. Cornrowing: I began braiding the top section into cornrows. I made about 14 cornrows using Brazilian yarn and ensured they were tight but not too tight to avoid discomfort. This took me roughly 40 minutes. 4. Gathering the Ponytail: Once the cornrows were done, I gathered the loose hair at the back and pulled it into a ponytail using a transparent hair gel.  5. I love this style because it is the perfect hairdo for Africans in the Middle East.  As you already know, the weather in the UAE isn't friendly, especially if you spend most of your time outdoors. Anyway, these jumbo braids are pretty long; that is another reason it is perfect for the heat. You can style it in multiple ways! I chose black and purple hair extension colours with pink lowlights (at the ends). It took about 4 hours to get these jumbo braids done.
